Kindersoccer Program is for kids from ages 5-6 and it is for first time soccer players. Co-Ed.
Grassroots Program is for kids from ages 3-4 and it is for first time soccer players. Co-Ed.
Future Stars Division is for 1st and 2nd Graders who have already participated in Grassroots or Kindersoccer. Divisions for Boys and Girls are separate. Concentration on foot skills, passing, dribbling, field positions for player development. Games at end of each session with Club’s Certified Trainers.
Junior Division is for 3rd through 5th Graders. Competitive Games. Boys and Girls are separate.
Senior Division is for 6th through 8th Graders. Competitive Games. Boys and Girls are separate.
Premier Division is for 9th through 11th Graders. Competitive Games. Boys Group.
Please note a few important dates:
- Registration is now open! Registration closes on Saturday, April 2nd! So don't delay and register today! Visit our website at www.unionsoccerclubofnj-rec.com/unionsoccer and click on the Register button in the top right hand corner.
- There will be a draft for placement of your children onto teams for Juniors, Seniors and Premier Divisions only! Coaches will be contacted one week prior to start of season and will then communicate with parents after draft.
- No draft or teams for Grassroots, Kindersoccer or Future Stars Programs.
- The first session and games will be on Saturday, April 9th!
- The season is for 8 weeks through Saturday, June 4th!
- We will have a SoccerFest celebration on June 11th with food and amusements for everyone where playoff games will be played for the Juniors through Premier Divisions.

Grassroots Program 12:45 to 1:45 PM Volunteer Field
Kindersoccer Program 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM Volunteer Field
Boys Future Stars – 9 to 10:00 AM, Volunteer Field
Girls Future Stars – 10:15 to 11:15 AM, Volunteer Field
Boys Juniors – Range from 9 AM through 3 PM at Weber Field – will depend on number of teams
Girls Juniors – Range from 9 AM through 12 PM at Battle Hill Field – will depend on number of teams
Boys Seniors – Range from 9 AM through 1:30 PM at Conlon Field – will depend on number of teams
Girls Seniors – Range from 1:30 PM through 4:15 PM at Conlon Field – will depend on number of teams
Boys Premier - Time and Field to be determined (late afternoon)
Union Soccer Club provides uniforms for all children in Juniors, Senior and Premier Divisions. The uniform consists of Jersey, Shorts and Socks. For Juniors, Seniors and Premier Divisions players must bring their own soccer ball. Players will not be allowed to play without shin guards, and these must be worn underneath the socks! Parents are responsible for shin guards, soccer balls and cleats.
For Future Stars Divisions, Grassroots and Kindersoccer a T-Shirt will be provided. Future Stars, Grassroots and Kindersoccer participants do not need shin guards!
